Pastor Martin Ssempa, lead pastor of Makerere Community Church in Kampala, Uganda happened to be in the States this week and we were able to arrange for him to fly to Chicago before returning home in a few days.
Martin will be joining us for our normal Monday morning pastoral prayer meeting and message prep time and then we'll have various other meetings throughout the day. He flies out again at 6:45pm Monday night so this will be a bit of a whirlwind trip. This could be a very strategic opportunity for New Life as we look at clarifying our short and long term mission strategy. Pray for good God-activity.
So far, so God.
I am so proud of pastor Martin Sempa, a man who has fought fir the truth with all his might and stood unshaken, a man whose ideologies have transformed many in Uganda, East Africa, Africa and beyond.
Bravo Pastor,i am fully behind you, be blessed.
