This past Saturday while frolicking in Grandville, MI with the family and in-laws, we went to a movie at the mall. Afterward we popped over to the climbing wall at Dick's Sporting Goods. Tyce wanted a second crack at the wall since last time he had only climbed high enough to qualify for "the little frosty"--a reward Uncle Keith gave for a partial climb.
Jaley and Lena joined Tyce in the climbing endeavor--"anything you can do I can do better". They suited up in their climbing shoes and harnesses and waited their turn. First up, Tyce. He started climbing and didn't look back.
With a few helps on foot locations, he made it to the top and smacked the buzzer--there were cheers and clapping from his balcony audience.
Lena and Jay climbed next to each other at the same time. They both did an incredible job. First time climbing a 47.5' tall wall for a 6 and 9 year old. I've come to the conclusion that Gil and I are raising squirrel monkeys.
Where is the picture of you and Gil climbing the wall?
