I can't decide if I've upgraded or downgraded but either way I am now using a Blackberry (8700g to be exact). A generous friend gave it to me after upgrading theirs and so far (24 hours) it has been a handy tool and pretty easy to set up. I'm hoping to be able to try out mobile blog-posting soon as well. We'll see.
This has been a step I have avoided to this point. I've worried about the Crackberry effect. But I'm giving it a shot and seeing if I control it to my benefit or it controls me to my detriment. If you want to know how I'm doing with that, ask my wife. She won't mince words;-)
Any advice from you fellow Crackberry heads on how to keep this little piece of plastic and metal from controlling my life?
advice: you can use advanced ringer settings to keep the ringer off with "exceptions." For example, when I need to keep the ringer off during office meetings but I want to recieve important calls from a select person or two, advanced ringer settings allow that.
