Chip and Dan Heath are my homeboys. We've never met, but they're my homeboys. I'm not even sure what a homeboy is or if I'm allowed to have one (or 2) but they're my homeboys. They wrote a book called Made to Stick with duct tape on the cover--need I say more? And now they occasionally they write a post on their blog, creatively named (by their publisher, I'm sure) Made to Stick.
Their most recent post was on the website "The World of 100". This project uses striking visual designs to express what the world would look like if it were reduced to 100 people. You have to click through the images and facts. Powerful and for an American, must-viewing. Here's a sample to whet your appetite:
Good stats presentation. Quick, easy and interesting. Too bad the sexual orientation stats are off by 100% ("gays" are closer to 1 in 20 not 1 in 10). Makes me question the other data, but the general idea's very appealing.
